Miss
Fiesta San Antonio 2008, Ashley Mayle
Ashley Mayle is a 19-year-old sophomore at Trinity University
where she is double majoring in Business Administration and
Political Science. Ashley's ambition is to attend law school
and to one day become a judge in the juvenile court system.
This ambition has influcened her life through her work with
the Schertz city government to form a Youth Commission right
out of high school. She is an active member of her social sorority,
Sigma Theta Tau, and currently holds the position of Informal
Rush Chair. She is also a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law
Fraternity and serves as the chapter's Vice President.
Ashley's
passion lies in working with children and as a result she has
volunteered with many organizations such as SAMM Shelter, Battered
Women's Shelter and Seton Home. Through Trinity, she has become
a program head where she coordinates all volunteers as well
as events with Meadowlands Children's Shelter.
1st
Princess, Jenny Cook
Jenny Cook is a 19-year-old sophomore attending Northwest Vista
College where she is studying business management. She plans
on attending the McCoy College of Business at Texas State in
the fall. When Jenny graduates, she hopes to pursue her dream
of her own real estate company. She believes that "working
hard is the key to success." Her accomplishments include
competitive gymnastics, cheerleading and FFA. At the age of
17, Jenny became a published author. She loves to volunteer
for the Junior Achievement Program which teaches life skills
to all ages.
In
2005, Jenny held the title of Princess on the Miss Helotes Court.
During her reign, she was able to volunteer in the community
and participate in several parades including her favorite, the
Fiesta Flambeau. In her spare time, Jenny enjoys her family,
traveling, working out, cooking, hiking, fishing and volunteering
at school.

Princess, Justine Marmolejo
Justine
Meghan Marmolejo is a 21-year-old junior at the University of
Texas at San Antonio. She is pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in
Communication with a concentration in Public Relations and a
minor in Business Administration. One of her greatest accomplishments
was being an intern for the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of
Commerce, where her responsibilities included writing the corporate
newsletter, assisting in coordination of events and assisting
with media relations. Justine has also worked at a local television
station, KENS 5, for San Antonio's weekend morning show.
She
is an actvie member of Sigma Kappa Sorority, where she has become
passionately involved in educating and promoting awareness of
Alzheimer's Disease. Throughout college, she has participated
in several service projects such as the Alzheimer's Memory Walk,
North American Food Drive and Habitat for Humanity. In her spare
time she enjoys singing, dancing, supporting the Spurs and spending
time with family and friends.
